Still Busy

... Well, probably more uninspired, down in the dumps, and pessimistic than "busy". I also have a lot of books to read/finish reading, which are more immensely stirring than the internet, or so I'd like to believe. I am just so confused about a lot of things. Here is a nice little song to start the week with, though.

Don't worry about your head, it is "silly season" all over the world, at least you're not rioting.
It may, or may not, help you to know that the Devil does not act directly on our higher faculties, the intellect and the will. He will however act directly on our senses; our imagination, memory and the "pleasure-passions" (love, hate, desire, aversion, joy & sadness) to corrupt those and so weaken our intellect and will.
This is traditional Church teaching and worth remembering.
In the mean time, I'll pray you find work.
Thank you for your prayers and kind words, Rita. Those riots are really crazy! A friend who's been studying in Manchester since 2009 was almost mugged-- it's a bit scary to contemplate how close it hits to home
